We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and we are committed to providing it. Our counseling program is designed to help people with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.

Our counselors are experienced and professional, and they are passionate about helping people. They take the time to listen to their clients and understand their unique needs. They then work with their clients to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their individual goals.

We offer counseling in a variety of settings, including in-person, online, and in the community. This means that we can provide counseling to people regardless of their location or schedule. We accept most insurance plans and we also offer a sliding fee scale, so that everyone can afford the care they need.

Our Peer Mentors are Peer & Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS) that are professionally trained and credentialed providers who walk alongside people through hard times and recovery, using their lived experience to help people survive and persevere. They provide regular one-on-one positive social interaction and help get things done.

Just 1 Life also provides peer support training courses that train and equip people to work as peer and recovery support specialists (PRSS).

Peer support can be a valuable resource for people who are struggling with mental health conditions or substance use disorders.

Just 1 Life is committed to fostering future leaders in behavioral health by offering supervised practicum and internship opportunities for students specializing in Counseling, Peer Support Work, and Behavioral Health Administration. These hands-on training experiences are vital for translating classroom theory into competent professional practice.

Practicums focus on foundational skill acquisition, including extensive observation, shadowing of seasoned professionals, grasping ethical protocols, and engaging in initial, highly-supervised client interactions.

Internships offer a more immersive and comprehensive professional experience, where students assume broader responsibilities for direct client care, participate actively in case conferences, perform detailed record-keeping, and handle administrative duties.
